Mahalia is going to be an incredible big sister. I can tell already. She spent an hour with him today, humming him lullabies and showing him his stuffed animals. It was her first time holding Dezi and she was so proud. My heart swells.
A story of getting through and patiently waiting for things to unfold

Every day this blog gets better and better! Just when I think I can't feel any happier, I check Inside Out!!!!!
Oh man! It's heartbreaking in the happiest of ways. You can see the pride of being a big sister on Maymay's face. So touching! The little man is looking good :)
Such a beautiful picture - she looks like a natural. We're thinking of you guys often and checking in through the blog. Happy to see he's doing well. Such a brave little man.
Kali: I am overwhelmed and moved by your words and by your vast ability to step inside and outside of yourself at the same moment. Mahalia will be a wonderful big sister because she has two phenomenal parents to guide her. The entire Freedman family send you their love and keep Dezi in their hearts every day.
